this is just Ridiculous

just recently in my country (New Zealand) Microsoft or the government im unsure who. Has placed a block on downloads on the XBL market place making it so you have to be at least 18 to buy any thing including G rated demos and it seems form what ive been told New Zealand is the only country in the world to have this block

just keep parental controls off. im assuming this is how that will work

it has nothing to do with parental controls its been placed on every xbox in the country

yeah but doing that i would have to get all my game score again nd ive put a lot of time into my profile

i dont really get to many demos but its the dlc thats got me most ticked off

so what if u lose gamepoints. is that more important than the actual online experience?

oh that makes sense. my bad i feel your pain. send an email to MS telling them that G rated things should be unbanned, and any thing else not meeting your age input should have an option for parent consent.

i had a quick look at xbox.com and it seems all the links related to contacting them are based around RROD and the E-74 errors

U r right in some ways.But We don't have a really MS running Live network for Mainland yet.

It should only be temporary, for some reason Microsoft is having some technical issues or something like that and so they've restricted all people under the age of 18 from doing anything buying anything on Live. Does seem a bit stupid though that they've blocked off all access, especially without telling you.
