But did you know that Halo 3 will a have a revamped assault rifle, now that will be awsome!!!!!!!!
The only time we all saw it was on the first halo 3 trailer, i can't wait to see it shoot!!!!!!

Yes... we all saw it on the Halo 3 beta. i just finished killing somebody with that assault rifle about five minutes ago. Wow okay i'll give you a lay out of what's new.
You already know equipment so that's good... I'll tell you what kind though
Bubble shield
Gravity lift
Trip mine
Energy Drain (drains shields, disables vehicles, eventually explodes and kills everyone around it)
New grenade called spike grenade, kind of like plasma grenade except you can stick it into walls and then it will shoot spikes out. Great for using against people chasing you because you can throw it into a wall, they run past and BOOM.
Spiker Pistols, brute pistols that shoot spikes, really awesome. Probably my favorite weapon that I've used on the beta
Spartan Laser, anti vehicle, charge it up and after three seconds it shoots several very powerful lasers, can be used to kill people on foot as well.
Chainguns, now you can pick up the turrets and run around with them, it's pretty awesome
Rocket pods, basically a turret that shoots rockets
Mongoose, a really fast ATV, has no guns but you can put someone on the back and they can shoot whatever weapon they're holding
Oh and the needler is extremely awesome, y ou cant duel wield them anymore but you can actually kill people
A charged up plasma shot will stop vehicles for about 5-7 seconds
Wraith tank will actually have those turrets it had in the Halo 2 singleplayer campaign
Shotgun is awesome
Rocket no longer locks on
