This may or may not work for you but I unplugged my xbox360 from the outlet and the xbox360 itself and left it sitting for a week or two. I plugged it back in after I put the xbox360 power cord in the xbox360. It worked! I was pretty shocked and very happy! :)
If I had to leave it for a week or two, I would rather send it off to get fixed. Regardless, all RROD discussion belongs in the broken 360 stickied thread.
