I have windows vista and I want to sync my computer with my xbox to listen to music. I don't want to do the media center sync, because I want to listen while I play. How do I stream music while playing?

Just open up Windows Media Player 11, then on the top click the little triangle under libary and pick media sharing. If your 360 is on and connected to the same network it should come up on the list, and just allow the PC to share files with it.

if both your 360 and computer is using wireless internet just go to media/music/Computer and it should pop up as long your PC is turned on, it'll show up. but that's if you have a adapter on your 360 and a wireless card on your computer. it's so tight i watched pirates of the caribbean on my 360 via my computer.

I have my laptop wireless, my XBOX 360 hard wired. I have Windows Vista. I am trying to do the whole media sharing deal, but nothing says anything about XBOX 360.
