Red Dead Redemption and Halo Reach are the two definites for me this year. But I'm also looking forward to Alan Wake, Crysis 2, Fable 3, Deus Ex: HR, and a few more I can't think of right now. There are A LOT of great releases this year.
just make a list; by the time you eventually get round to playing the latest releases; they'll have dropped in price.. Considering your not of of the individuals who pay full price for the latest titles !
Coming out? I still have these games sitting in my collection waiting to be played. Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, Enchanted Arms, Infinite Undiscovery, Dragon Age, Assassins Creed, Assassins Creed 2, Fallout 3, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. There are also a bunch of games I want to go back to and start playing again.
I got a new 360 only a few eeks ago after I sold my old one last year. Honeslty, it can be hard to pick games. If you want to make sure you get good games, look through reviews and previews of the games. Also watch any avaible videos that are out for the games. I'm looking forward to Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Crysis 2, Elder Scrolls 5, Fallout: New Vegas and a few others.
I somehow survived Q1 this year and there were a lot of good games being released at once. Surviving Q4 will be even harder with Cod: Black ops, Fable III, halo reach, fallout new vegas, mgs rising? At least gow 3 is next year :D
im looking toward fallout nv and brink, both under the radar right now. alan wake in a week! someone said they base what they buy on reviews. i no longer do that. it tends to ruin my expectations. they nitpick which only heightens my awareness of the problems. i can usually tell if ill like a game or not. plus, you can usually tell if a game is getting positive chatter or not. just look on boards
Buy them all and hardly ever play most of them.. haha jk. But that's the story of my life with videogames. Can't help myself. But I will be thoroughly playing RDR and AW.
I usually go with what I've been waiting for the longest. For instance, I'm choosing Alan Wake over Red Dead Redemption, because I've been following the former far longer than the latter. In fact, I haven't been following RDR at all.

Same here. But since I'm loving what I see so far with RDR, I'll be picking up both. But if I "HAD" to choose.. it would be Alan Wake.. no doubt. Next would be Halo Reach.. haha.
red dead redemption for sure, the rest im not so bothered about. halo reach, mafia 2, black ops and probably a few others but red dead will hold me over forever! depending on how fun the multiplayer will be which in guessing is very!
