So did Treyarch finally make a good/great Call of Duty game?!
Is Call of Duty: World at War an okay or good or great game, and is it as good or about the same or better then Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?
Also what are your overall thoughts on Call of Duty: World at War?

I think it's slightly better than COD4. I don't mind the guns(haven't played that many WW2 games),Zombie mode is loads of fun,and i think the maps are pretty good. I only played a bit of multiplayer at a friends and the BETA though. I'm getting the game for christmas so i can give a better judgement but so far i find it very refreshing and fun.

I think it's a little bit better than Cod4

mostly because of th weapons, you cant get mowed down by semi-autos from across the map anymore

and because the weapons are weaker, you cant shoot straight through a building (50 cal sniper)

I have yet to play it and may get it for xmas, but I had heard that the weapons in this game, since they are the WW2 weapons, actually makes the online portion require more skill to play, is that true? if it is i will be happy cuz it is so easy to get away with spray n pray in COD 4 which turned me off after a while.jriddle89

yes, it requires a bit more skill to actually shoot somebody, because the weapons have much less range, and they are less accurate, and you basically always have to hold L and zoom in (even from 10 ft away) unlike CoD4

I was in the beta, and I dont know if its just me, but I liked cod 4 alot better. I did not like the tanks and the dogs. It felt like a sloppy cod 4. I do like me the kar98 though
