Silver Xbox 360 faceplate issues...

I purchased the official Xbox 360 silver faceplate recently. There is one problem that is really bugging me, and I'm not sure it's a defect or if they are all like this. The "Right of Light" appears to be blurry when the system is turned on.

Does anyone else who has this faceplate have the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure your 360's faceplate is fitted correctly?

Yeah, the faceplate is fit on perfectly. I can notice there are smears on the clear plastic, even when light is turned off.

Check on the inside of the faceplate.

Yeah, check the back. Maybe there is some plastic sticky covering it or something??

I looked inside the faceplate by taking it off and it appears to be sort of blurry. I'm going to return it to Best Buy tommorow, it's probably just a defect.

There was a person who claimed his silver faceplate had the same problem as well. If someone else has one please tell me. THANKS!

where you get the silver faceplate? DethZero

Got it at Best Buy. You can get them anywhere on the internet though, try EBGames.com

remove the face plate and check to see if there's a protective plastic film strip covering the RoL on the inside

Some n00b WHO WE SOLD A 360 BROKE HIS OFF WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO REMOVE IT. So this guy wants....a new 360!!! I kid you not. I told him no way, and no new face plate, either.

Of course my manager caves, but only gives him a new faceplate.

I was not mad, because we gave hin one of those cheap Pelican ones, with the XS logo. I told him he was elite and laughed, my manger was pissed, and the dude knew I was messing with him but he was full of it, so he said nothing.
