I hear the Kinect can scan objects and track their movement. So I was wondering if it can scan a 360 controller and track the movements of the 360 controller?

Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Sort of, but I'm just wondering if what I said is possible.

Its aninteresting statement. I think like the others it defeats the purpose of controller free gaming. That said it would be cool if it can scan in items to be used in games.

I think it an scan items to be added to games. I'm not 100% sure on this and its just my opinion, but for an example it could be cool if you were able to scan your own personal desgined goalie mask for EA NHL and your created goalie is able to wear that mask. Just a thought.
