Question about my account investigation

I called MS to have my account investigated for fraud. They said it would be locked for up to 25 days but I can still log onto live. Is this right? I want my account to be investigated but I have no way of knowing if it is. Should I call back and tell them my account is not locked?

A locked account is not banned, It's simply locked from making purchases, adding/removing details etc.
