What is Microsoft thinking? Kinect sounds like some knock-off Lego. Also, they've pushed the Natal name so much that changing it now doesn't make sense.
Yeah Natal sounded better, but it didn't actually mean anything, so that is probably why it was only a project name. Its obvious what this name means and the K is suppose to make it catchy I guess.
Seriously what is wrong with kinect? Its actually really clever. Its short for kinetic (great description of the device), and I am sure MS is going to market this as a way for parents to connect with their kids.
yea when i saw the name, i thought it sounded stupid, and i still do! lol man wat were they thinking when they agreed to making this the name of NATAL!!!!
I am pretty sure the only reason we think Kinect sounds lame is because we got used to Natal. I remember back in the day when I thought Natal was a stupid name
