So i usually play on a standard definition TV because my Hd TV is in the living room so other people are usually watching it.But sometimes I bring the xbox down and when i try to play it no picture or sound comes up. Usually i will turn it on and off a few times then it works but last night i did it about 5 or 6 times and still no picture or sound. It is connected with a HDMI cable btw. Anyone know why this happens or have a solution?

Turn it on on the SD quality and go to settings > display, there you have to switch the settings to 1080p or 720p whatever you want. Then it should work is my guess.

Make sure you have your tv on the proper input. For example, make sure you switch from your tv channels to your hdmi input. Sometimes I plug in the wrong hdmi cord and think wtf!? why isn't it working? then I realize it's something simple like that.

If it refuses to work next time you take it for a walk down stairs, explain to it that if it continues to behave in this manner, you'll replaced it witha younger model.. Works on the wife too !

Hi, i'm thinking of switching to HD and picking up a 24inch LCD Toshiba Regza next week. It has a resolution of 1366 x 768. I chose said TV because they're having a sale at the mall and I think it's quality is good enough. Thoughts?

and oh, is there a huge and noticeable difference between 1366 x 768 &1920x1080? Thanks!

Make sure your TV is on the HDMI input, not a A/V input.

1: make sure the xbox setting is set for the t.v

2: if one don't work them it's the hdmi cable.
