Portal is the best game on 360... seriously

This game is genius. I would have paid $60 for just this game. The story was top notch, I can't think of a funnier game that I have ever played.

In my opinion it's the best game I have played all year.

couldn't be more serious, how much of the same drivel can everyone take. Finally something that isn't derivitive. If the gameplay doesn't get you, the humor will.

longer would have been nice. But it really isn't something that takes away from the game anyway. I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week.

While I do find Portal very entertaining, it's nowhere near my favorite game on the system.

Great game? Yes. My favorite game on the 360? Not by a long shot.

Seriously, it is an awesome and fun game, but I finished it in an afternoon, and I'm the slowest gamer in the world. There's plenty of games that are longer, more fun, with better stories, so I'd say it is hardly the best game on 360. Still, it has a fair amount of replay value and it adds a lot to the Orange Box. I, too, would love to see a longer version, or to see elements of Portal in a Half Life sequel.

are these good games???? i am planning to get a few games i have missed.since i have had my 360 for little more than a month..i have right now...halo 3, R6V, GEARS, topspin 2, and viva pinata.....

the games im not sure about is what i want to know about..i cant oblivoin or shadow run..the people that i get it from dont have it (i live in a small town)..and i was wandering about those and GRAW 2..if they are good or not....and which one should i go for first..

I didn't like GRAW2, it's just not my thing, but most people love it. Oblivion is an absolute must buy, shadowrun was mediocre at best.

I bought it used.. and I'm happy I did, I'm going to return it tomorrow.

Portal, along with the HL games have amazing atmospheres that really sets the mood, feels like you're in the movie the cube. That's really what makes these game so great, the puzzles in Portal were good, but it would have been a mediocre game without the plot twists, the humor, and the sense of style that went into it. Same with HL, it really makes you feel like you're in a living breathing world fighting to survive an onslaught. The shooting action is amazing, but would be nothing without the sense of immersion, and just plain amount of epic that eminates from every moment.

Well Portal is the only game that Yahtzee(Zero Punctuation) wasn't able to bash.
