October 21st should just be skipped this year due to lameness. MMO on PC (probably with subscription fees) = fail. Definetly, just like that WoW game that runs in about $180,000,000 a month.
Isn't/Wasn't there already a Star Wars based MMO game? I'd like another single player story/character driven game like KOTOR1. Heck, I'll take another game like KOTOR2 even.

Never said I would. Where did you get the idea I cared to play it? I love how the end of a debate or difference of opinion around here ends with: well just don't play it. That doesn't mean I can't talk about it or have an opinion.

I know we haven't seen a single piece of game footage or a screenshot, but I am not liking the fact that there will be a MMO instead of a single player RPG. It was the story and characters that made KOTOR an epic adventure that has many fans talking about the game after years of its' release. The first KOTOR game is considered by many people not only as one of the best RPGs on the xbox, but also a classic game that will be remembered for a long time. An MMO title puts very little emphasis on storyline or characters. It just takes away everything the first two KOTOR games were all about.

I agree! I've heard so many things from so many people that maybe its a different game but so many fingers are pointing toward it being a KOTOR MMO. I hate this more then anything how long have we been waiting for the 3rd game and now its a big count down to something MOST of the fans of the first games.
It better be KOTOR3 because in both of the ending they left them with cliff hangers and siad that their going to fight even stronger sith or something like that of what i remeber.

i would for sure. why cant we just have kotor 3, tor isnt even really kotor, i wouldnt mind if obsidian made it, i sure as hell wouldnt mind if it was set in a different time period like the great hyperspace war, or the mandalorian wars etc. making kotor an mmo has alienated many core kotor fans.
honestly...i gave up waiting for 3 even though KOTOR is like one of my favourite games ever and when i heard Star Wars: The Old Republic was an MMO, i was pissed because i hate those games and KOTOR should just stick to RPG.......but i have ME2 now so ill live :D:D
