Original XBOX game: DOOM 3!!!

just beaten doom 3. bought the game used for $8. ive played it for the PC when it was released back in 2004, but DAMN playing on the XBOX is a very difference experience. oh and the graphics are pretty good for an XBOX game! its by far the most intense horror game ive ever played. people tell me, play dead space. well if its about aliens i dont get scared.

but if its about demons and anything supernatural it definitely give me the creeps! though doom 3's version of hell is more "sci-fi hell" (after all, hell is different across all cultures, so iD decides to create their own version of hell)

anyway all ive got to say is, ive got other 360 games in my backlog (rdr, batman arkham goty, reach, alan wake, new vegas), but damnit i dont care about those. juts after beating doom 3, i ordered the expansion, resurrection of evil. i need more horror fix.

dont overlook this game. you cant go wrong when its around $5 used or new if lucky and if you have a big screen tv.

Dead Space aliens are pretty much zombie demons, or at least they look like it. And yeah, Doom 3 I thought was a bit under apreciated, but Dead Space is still head and shoulders above Doom 3 in quality.

guys guys im not trying to compare which is scarier. im just telling people that, hey if you have a big tv, and $5 to spare; then get this game. give it a try, its worth your money.

i almost got doom 3 but i am selling all my xbo orginals but i have the orginal doom on the xbox live arcade and that game is a blast...im playing it on hurt me plenty so it makes me scared of some of the harder to beat monsters

i wish scary movies and video games scared me.

i play all the horror games in the dark with surrond sound, and movies i watch.

only time i get scared is when a spider is about to get on me then i s*** my pants

Doom 3 wasn't scary on the Xbox, they turned it into to much of an action title. On the PC it was terrifying though.

But yeah, definitely try Dead Space, I don't get scared easily and that one got me quite a few times. Very intense atmosphere.

nah no problems! it runs smooth! the only downside about the game is that there is no split screen. if you want to play coop, it must be via system link.

It still baffles me to this day how anyone was ever scared by dead space, but I might give doom 3 a look see

I just bought a couple Xbox gmaes off GS to play in the dark. Mainly Call of Cthuhlu and Doom 3 also... i would highly recommend Call of Cthulhu for any horror/survival fans out there.
