You probably got it by getting hit by a vampire, and you have to do either the vampire cure quest to get rid of it or there's some downloadable content that'll get rid of it.
To get rid of Vampirism you need to do a quest called Vampire Cure which you can receive from the Count of Skingraad. You go and talk to him and enquire about Cure for Vampirism and he will tell you his story - when he's done he will send you on a quest to find the cure. this is a LONG quest and will cost you a lot of time and money (took me a few hours to get everything together and visit everywhere you need to) but SOOOO good when you complete it!!! I know coz i had it and just completed the quest and now i'm free!! :) If you need help finding all the stuff you need, i'd recommend a walkthrough of some kind. The prima one is incredible & is pretty much the oblivion bible!!!!!! :)
Oh by the way, you get Vampirism from visiting some caves or from coming into contact with some vampires. I think its called Polymorphic Cough or something like that? Its an actual disease within Tamriel.

You should note that this quest really sucks and can get glitched. If you don't have a recent save that you can go back to, you might want to spend like $2 to download Deepscorn Hollow, it is one of the hide-out plug-ins that includes an easy vampire cure.
I have not played oblivion in over a year i think I got it back when the game first came out so probably stopped playing it 2 months after it was out..... Anyway I am not sure if they patched it out but after you complete the vampire quest you could keep talking to the guy in the castle for unlimited money... that's what i did anyway.
o an there is this really cool glitch that no 1 can get u its good way to kill ppl an if ur in trouble from the gaurds i found it out when i first started when i was tryin to hide from the gaurds u go to bravil then u go to the lonely suitor lodge then go to the top floor there should be a bed room on the left when u go up stair go there then u see a gap behind the bed jump into it then ull go throw the wall an u can shoot ppl from the wall its epic **** i love it lol i got to lvl 10 in like 1hr from doing that lol hope u guys like it :} o an i dont no if its for pc i only done it on xbox360

I loved being a vampire. I became one as soon as I could on my second play-thru, and the extra stat benefits really helped out. Plus whenever you needed to go into town or something, all you have to do is bite one person and you're back to stage 1.
Vampires ruined my first play though! I had 1 hp and had vampire disease and went out a door into the sun and it autosaved then I died so every time I reload I die:evil:
dude **** thing about oblivion is that u cant be a werewolve in it unlike morrowind u can wtf is up with that srsly ik there mods for it for pc but i got it for pc xbox360 an ps3 lolz
