ive seen oblivion here for $25AUD and the GOTYt edition for $100AUD. which one should i get? i mean i could get the normal one and put the $75 towards another game (eg. CoD4). is the goty edition worth it?
The retail version of the 360 Oblivion GOTY edition comes in a set of two discs. The Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansion is on the second disc, so yes, you still have to download that 1.5 GB onto your hard drive regardless. The only exception to this is if you have the PS3 version (and possibly the PC one two).
If you're going to like Oblivion then the GoTY is definitely the way to go. If you aren't going to spend a lot of time on it then just get the regular version.

i was thinking the same thing, but i got it for 25 bucks cos i saw the expainsion pack ( u get all the extra content ) n it was 60 or so bucks, so i thought itd be better to get both cos thats 75 where as the goty is 80 cheapest.
GOTY - You get Oblivion, Knights Of The Nine & Shivering Isle aslong with new places, and items. You can download them but they take up precious space. Look around see if you can get it a bit cheaper though.
does GOTY come with JUST shivering isles and knights of the nine (plus the regular game) or do you get some other stuff like horse armor and patches as well?
