NBA 2K10 or NBA Live 10?

I'm looking to purchase one of these games since I have a serious love of basketball, but both the games having substantial review scores makes it hard to decide ultimately what to choose.

If anyone owns one of these games or both these games, could you tell me the pro's and con's of each?

I'm looking for these things:

- Create-A-Character

- Dynamic Graphics

- Lasting Value

- Realism (Or at least close to it)

I don't care about online play because I'm living in a dorm room where online play isn't an option.

Which one should I get?

Definately NBA 2K10 the con about 2K10 is the online has had issues in the past, and some people are experienceing online issues this year too. Since you will not be playing online jump onto 2k10 it is definately the best basketball franchise out on the market for many years now.

Just to add I am waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail tomorrow. I used to be a basketball player at my College, and cannot emphasize how much of a better simulation 2K10 really is in comparison to Live.

i dont recommend EA games never so i go with 2k10

After playing the demo's I would buy 2k10

NBA LIVE 10 is way better than 2K. the controls on 2K are so crappy that the game sucks.

I tied both and I like 2k10 much better than nba live.
