Most disappointing online experiences?

For me the most disappointing was wolfenstein, not a bad main game and to be honest the online would have been alright if not for the fact that it lagged so bad not one person had a connection over 2 bars and most people only had 1 bar, i could only host a game with 2 players... lagged bad and it never recorded my kils and money made either so much so that i hit lvl 3 about 6 times >.>

Any game that classifies online experience as showing you your personal ranking through off line game-play. :evil: The first to come to mind would be the time trials in the Batman- Arkham Asylum

I guess Banjo-Kazooie: nuts and Bolts and Beautiful Katamari for not having enough players. Not necessarily the fault of the games themselves.vashkey

Hmm.. Shadowrun cause of the nearly non-existing community, the game itself though was good..

The online community was just dead..

Oh, this reminds me. I take my earlier post back, I'd definitely go with Gears of War 2. They promised a more functional online experience, we got more broken which was hard to believe considering how broken the first Gears was. The sequel took broken to a level I never saw before. I remember looking at the live activity on the major nelson website, on Gears 2's second week it fell behind Halo 3 in popularity. People dropped from Gears 2 really quickly just because of how much of a train wreck the multiplayer was.

Out of the entire group I use to play the original Gears with regularly only like five of them continued to play after the first month. Everyone who was left rarely touched the competitive multiplayer and just played Horde. By the time the game was fixed enough to the point of being acceptably playable(title update 3, IMO) the damage had already been done. Hardly anyone on my friendslist still played the game any more and the ones left were still reluctant to take part in matchmade games. I think the last time me and my friends really sat down and played some Gears 2 together was last summer. What a letdown.

codmw2 i loved all the cod over the years. after this releaese im thru with cod im tired of infinity ward spawn system. a new glitch every week neverending spawn kills and mw2 is the laggyest of all the cods.

When i was playing MW2 i really though it would be an ok game.

Still i dont understand how 2 million people play this everyday ( for me its online is really overrated and the campaign is underrated ).
Cod 2 is still the best of the serie in online.
