ok my mom just ogt her bills and on it, the are charging her over 500 dollars worth of sh1t. right now im really pissed because i didn't buy anything off the m$ dashboard and now they are charging us over 500 dollars. Anyone know what could have happened becuase this is rtearted. Im thinking of selling my 360 becuase of this.
someone knows your Windows Live ID email address and password and hacked into your account and viewed your credit card info and bought stuff. at this point you cant do this, but in the future if it is avoidable (and for 360 it is) DONT use you credit card (once again, if possible) change your password so no can get in your account, call M$ and they MIGHT reimberse you. most likely it was your fault because someone knows ur password. selling your xbox and throwing a hissy fit, however, will not solve this problem go to account management and you can view your download history and it might show what those hackers downloaded.
If someone hacked in and got your credit card number then you file a complaint with your credit card company and most likely will not be responsible for the charges. Yes, Microsoft screwed up by having weak security but I wouldn't sell your system over this. In the future, go to a store and buy a card with microsoft points, it's safer than sending a credit card number on Live.
sorry for all the trouble guys. It seems that it was all a missunderstanding. My mom actually got money  from microsoft. She got 2 dollars from them for no reason some typ of credit lol. So no worries i will continue to use my 360, sorry for all the trouble i caused all of you lol:D

ypu, but i didn't manage to get 2 dollars from the richest man alive, take that bill gates i just made you 2 dollars poorer lol im a happy man. Who wojuld have thought the richest man in the world would have given me 2 dollars.
A $500 charge to a $2 credit. Huh, yeah easy mistake to make. In all seriousness though, how long did it take to sort it out? Did you post on here the moment you saw the bill?
