So it's a slow time for games (for me... I don't like the Devil May Cry series) and I want a new game. I'm torn between Dark Messiah and Lost Odyssey, and am wondering what you think is the smarter buy. On the one hand, I am not a big fan of JRPGs, but on the other I love a good story and prefer long, deep games. Then again, I love stealth, so part of me wants to check out Dark Messiah just because there's a stealth option. Then again the DM demo didn't really wow me like the PC demo did years ago.
So what's your opinion? Which game is the safe bet?
L O dm is like oblivion but weaker more linear and about 8 hours long its not even free roam although i like western rpgs better then eastern go with L O i cant put it down, its ff 7 good
Lost Odyssey for me; even if you don't like JRPG's its definately worth a try. I don't know much about Dark Messiah, so don't ask me questions about that :)

Well, I'm not a big fan of turn based RPGs, so I would go with Dark Messiah. But only if it's similiar to Oblivion, with the open world and all. If it's a linear game, go with Lost Odyssey. I didn't play the PC version of Dark Messiah as you can tell.
