Who cares. This doesn't kill the 360. You still own yours. I still own mine. The millions who own one still own theirs. Does it really matter who buys which console moving forward at this point in the life cycle of this generation? People have already chosen their sides. And I still own both Mass Effects. And I'll buy Mass Effect 3 on the 360. Most people probably will considering they already have ME1 and ME2 saves ready to import. That won't change.
Guys its not as simple as that there are copyright and legal issue also they will have to fit the game to the console system and the video game controller maybe its because i own all the consoles but whatever

I was wondering about this. Obviously they can't import a Mass Effect 1 save. I wonder if they will give the PS3 players more chances to set up the story before the game instead of the default story that you would get if you didn't import a save. That wouldn't surprise me.
What good exclusives has the 360 got left only Halo and Gears of War. Left 4 Dead will be coming to PS3 aswell soon

That's what I was thinking. Honestly the 360 is the worst console this gen if that's all you have. Wii's coming out with some amazing exclusives soon, and PS3's taking all of 360's it's kinda funny.

Why did BioWare lie?! I kind of don't care about the game coming to the PS3, but why would they insist that the game wasn't coming for the PS3? Seems like everybody is talking about that and forgot the Dragon Age II awesome trailer :p
Are you guys kidding me? This is great news! I wish all games were multiplat and there were no exclusives. That probably wouldn't do the companies much good but it would be great from a gamers perspective.
I have played both ME games and I'm glad others now have the option to enjoy them. The more games the consoles are willing to share the better.
I love this whole idiotic console "war." I remember playing games for fun and not caring about exclusives or sales oh wait I still don't give a ****. I hope all these sales kids stop playing games so it can go back to the way it was. In the end who the **** cares what console you own as long as you like the games. I have just as much fun with an exclusive as I do with a multiplatform game.

It was never really an "exclusive" PC had it too. So I dont know why your complaining so much. Who cares if they get it, I doubt youll complain if we get some of there exclusives. I mean personally I would love to see uncharted on 360.

Yeah, basically. I don't mind if people on other consoles get to play games that were released on mine years ago.
Also, I don't know if you know this, but the PS3 is only getting ME2, not the first one. Microsoft is still too greedy to give up the rights to ME1, so only the EA published ME2 will see a port. That really screws new players as their going to be lost when it comes to the story.

Exactly this, i really think mass effect is good enough to make people buy the 360 and even though now is getting exported to the PS3 why would you even buy it if you've already playedME in 360?, besides AC used to be an exclusive for PS3 and it's still awesome, as long as they make amazing games you shouldn't care if they're exclusive or multiplatform.

umm i don;t know why nobody has said it , but all ps3 exclusives are funded by sony , and from first party companies that's why they can't be on other platforms, all microsoft games are from 3rd party , well beside rare.

Yeah I agree. Too bad they didn't port part 1 though... the PS3 gang won't get the carryover plot points, which is a shame. Still, part 2 alone is better than nothing.
