Just played COD2 online and...

I have no idea why people liked that games online play. These was now way to sprint, as my COD4 reflexes urged me to keep pressing down on the thumbstick. The game does not use the havok physics engine (like guitar hero 2) and when my guy got shot, he flew 5 feet in the air and landed on his face in less than a split second lol. There was no xp gaining system, and you couldn't create a class. After 5 minutes in the first match I played, I pressed start to find out that the only way to exit a game was to end the game. I could see how ticked people would get if someone kept doing this.

I know this was a great shooter back in the day. EVen on the box it says "first good shooter on the xbox 360".

I guess that today just has higher standards for online shooters. Im not saying COD2 is bad, im just saying how it aged.

Play it on the PC dude. There are TONS of servers that use sprinting mods. CoD2 feels much better than 4 IMO (although 4 is a wonderful game). However, in CoD2, it didn't take 4 sniper shots to kill somebody. That's why I liked it better. Although I probably couldn't play that game on the 360 lol. Mario2007

CoD 4 was praised for it's MP innovation, they tweaked their MP until it reached the masterpiece that CoD 4's MP was. They had to start somewhere.

theres a difference between wondering what other people thought of the MP and posting your experience and expect people to follow on and care. and theres no need to be patronising, yeh he does pay to use gs? what of it, i will too once i have the money.

is that because all you do is use the sniper? i hate people that only use the sniper... using many different classes is the way to go.

He puts forth, "I have no idea why people liked that games online play", something he wants to know, but answers himself. He realizes it's aged and you can't compare it to current games. My point stands, there was no point to the thread.
