are you able to only connect to live only using your router, nothing else...?

cause my parents are gonna say screw that and probably not get a wireless adapter since its 80 bucks :/

You actually need to have your modem hooked up to the router and then run a CAT-5 cable to the back of the 360.

If we're going to be technical about it.

this is someone who obviously shouldnt be playing online so stoppp helping

you can also connect your xbox to your computer with an ethernet cable (if you have the slot) and share the internet connection

i thot u couldnt just plug it into a computer and share its interwebs
