Make your GT to "live" in another country and you'll get in. Anyway, I suspect Latvia is supported. I live in Finland, very close to you, and it's supported here.
hi, have read your thread and would like to know if you found a solution? which marketplace do you join from latvia? why I ask is that I want to download additionals for gears of war i.e. which is not possible from germany. and as I will be in riga in 3 weeks I think of taking my xbox with me to download from there... many thanks for your answer.
Just go to www.xbox.com and make a gamertag from their and for your location register it in the US, UK, or somewhere that XBOX Live is supported. I would recommend US simply because of the martketplace. Then you should be good to go. I live in the US and I have been to countries that are not XBOX Live supported, but yet I simply plugged the ethernet cable into my 360 and XBOX Live was up and running.
