Is there a way i can sell red dead redemption and get 60 bucks back?

i bought red dead on tuesday, and i realized that its not the kind of game i want. so i want to sell it. Gamestop will only give me $25 and im not getting that for something i payed 60 bucks for 2 days ago.

Cant you just take the game back to the store for a refund?

Dont you have a friend or someone at your work that wants the game that you can sell it to them for a few bucks cheaper then the store?

You're not getting all your money back for a used game...

They depreciate in value the moment you open them. You'll get more on eBay, but there's no way you're gettin $60 for it.

Maybe try renting games next time if you're not sure about them.

you can get about 50 bucks if you sell it on craigslist. or ebay.

Or you could try a game trading website and get another game for it.

Craigslist is probably your best bet. You won't get $60 for it though, maybe $50-$55?

what store are you going to? GAME/Gamestation stores don't give out a full refund if its been opened unless there's a problem with the disk itself.

At GAME in the UK you can use a new-ish game to buy a newer game for a fraction of the price - kinda like a part-exchange. I'd suppose Gamestop have a similar policy...

Failing that, I guess you're stuck. I'd advise you read as much as you can about a game (watch videos as well) before you buy it.

My local Game allow for credit or exchange, and my local Gamestation (including the Gamestation desk at my nearest Blockbusters) give a full refund within ten days of purchase, I have been using the same store for the last three years, last game I had to take back was AvP....within 24 hrs of buying it, it went straight back for a full refund!!

These things happens when you make dumb decisions. You either rent if you are unsure whether you will enjoy a purchase or not, or read reviews and watch gameplay clips extensively. As far as I know in North American you cannot get a full refund simply because you used what you bought and didn't like it.

Sell it to a friend or a popular gaming store for a less amount of money.
