Is Left 4 Dead lagging for anybody else?

I just played the Demo for Left 4 Dead 2 and got excited for it so I got on Left 4 Dead and man did it lag. On Versus, it lagged bad, even when I was host. And yeah, you could say that I have a poor internet connection but I run FIOS, and when it lagged on my internet connection one of my friends hosted on Comcast and his game lagged as well. It wasn't just lag, everybody in the room had red connection. Anybody else experiencing this?

If you guys played over xbox live then there is no host since it uses Valve's servers. System link is a different story.

No lag if you play coop splitscreen..:) best way to play L4D..:P

Sometimes it lags. But most of time no lag, but in the Demo L4D 2 it lags a lot.

Left 4 dead is perfect. 4 me

the lagging is persistent on xbox 360, I emailed chet about this but havent gotten a email back. It seems like there is nothing we can do about it at the moment. i would suggest everyone experiencing problems to try and contact someone at valve about it. The more mauil they recieve the faster they will look into it.

I tried a few hours ago and it was unplayable. I have never had that problem before so I don't know why it's lagging so bad.

Go into the settings when setting up a room an switch from a dedicated server to a local server. this worked for me an my friends yesterday.
