Is it safe to buy GTA V if you have an older X360?

Hello guys. I've heard some early rumors that GTA V could cause overheating problems on older Xbox 360 models.

I have an Xbox 360 discontinued "Premium" model with 60GB. I wonder if there are gamers out there with a similar model that have been playing GTA V.

Have you found any problems?

I have an old xbox 360 and I haven't experienced any problems with GTA V.

i have an older model 360 and I haven't had any problems. beat the game once. at about 80 % of 100%.

@DannyC_pt: Same here, I have the old console andI never have a problem, But on the other hand my younger brother has the newer black one and his is always over heating and shuting down...

when i play it for over 4 hours my console tends to overheat. I have a discontinued model of the 360, i believe it is the pro model? 20gb console.

But i dont believe that it is due to GTAV because i have had times when the console overheats with other games. Although while playing GTAV my console tends to overheat more.

I suppose GTA V is using alot more horsepower.
