Is Gears of War still active

Topic. I was planning to get just the first one as alot of people told me that the second one was not as good. Is it still active?

I played last month before the beta and there were still a bunch of lobbies. Just be careful which lobbies you join, people seem to kick players for no reason. I'd recommend getting the second one though as the first just isn't as exciting as it was in it's prime. Plus the second would have a lot more players on and more maps.

Not sure about the first, but the second is still active. And yeah poeple will sometimes boot players for no reason, so it can get frustrating at times.
