Haha, it's definitely not dead, it's the complete opposite. It must be something with your connection or you haven't gotten certain updates or something.

Hell no, I play every night and the rooms are mostly all filled with 20-24 people in it. I didn't even download the new Nam pack yet. Doign that next week

No its very active. In my opinion this game and halo reach are the best fps available. A game this good doesnt go away quickly at all, it should be alive and well for a while.
In my opinion i actually think that game is totally dead since Call of duty black ops and halo reach have come out recently. But the new Vietnam DLC will for sure bring people back to that game. Another thing is that the game is just not so hot as it used to be. And also btw Battlefield 3 is going to come out later so i doubt around even 3,000 people be playing that in the future. :) Hope this helped.

Totally dead? Where are you getting this information? There are always tons of people playing and never have any problems finding games..so what's your definition of "totally dead?"

This is about as undead as a game can get. Make sure you have all 7 map packs downloaded from the Store section. If you bought the game used you'll need to pay $10.00 for access to the store section to get the free map packs (the code was free for people that buy the game new).
