Maybe because MS products are incompatible for the 360? I hntestly don;t know, Ive tried that myself and even tried to stream movies ive had, but no go. But I'm pretty sure the crap known as "zune" works on the 360.
There's an update on the Xbox Live marketplace that gives your Xbox the codecs required to play Ipod files, not sure what it's classified under though.
Just wondering but can you also play the movies you have on the Ipod? I doubt it but still I hate having to convert my damn video files so that ittl work on my 360.

The zune's not crap I prefer it much over my Ipod. I got it after my ipod video broke and have loved it ever since. It's got some nice features that make it better than the ipod.
Eh well to be honest I only called it crap from what Ive heard about it, and because nowadays I take whatever MS makes with a grain of salt. Like forexample the 360, if it weren't for its awesome games and xbl i'd have my ass playing on the ps3, rather than having to resend a friggin defective console every couple of months just because MS wanted to compete against sony. And im saying this because MS only made the Zune to compete with the Ipod. But I might just take a look at the zune somtime.
this is completely irrelevant to my thread lol but i don't really like the look of the zune, the new ones are a bit nicer, but theres just something about the ipod... i dont know what lol.
anyway, is there a way to get the update from the marketplace without accessing it directly via the 360? I don't have my 360 online yet since all my routers and modems are downstairs. Which also brings me to my next problem, if i wanted to connect my 360 to a router am i going to have to buy a like 50 foot long ethernet cable? What are some of you guys set up?
I have an ipod touch i downloaded the update thing you need and it still doesnt work (and its under O in the game market place for optional update its free)
the ipod does work on the xbox. It just doesnt show itunes songs on it because i think Apple is one of Microsofts competitiors. if you buy the song on amazon it should work probably.
