IP address conflict?

i have a router but when i try and use my desktop it says theres an ip address conflict or something. is that bad? what does that mean?

It means your 360 is being assigned the same IP as your PC, likely.


Easy fix: go to your Xbox network settings. and click on the block that has "IP" and "Gateway".

Set it to manual, and give your xbox the IP "192.168.0.115"

Set the gateway as "192.168.0.1"

Note that this may not work as SOME routers don't use 192.168.0.1, but usually they do, If it doesn't work, just set it back to Automatic, but this should work.
