When i played in the beta it seemed like what you had equipped would change your appearance. So for example if you have a MP5 you would have like a gas mask on and be more like special ops.
I think ( i might be wrong) is that you cannot customize your character. And when it said that you can customize it (i heard that somewhere) it meant the perks. But you also might be able to change his hat and skin color.
in da beta u cant change ur apperance the computer already sets the characters clothing for watever gun u use such as sniperswhich look different but you can change the camo on ur gun when u unlock it
yeah, i haven't read anything about changing your looks, but even if you can i doubt that it's very in-depth, seeing as units dress alilke (excluding the snipers)
I hope you can change your look,the type of weapon you have changes your look sounds neat hopefully they have ether of those ideas in the final version.
