I sent my Xbox 360 to the repair center, and it came back 1 week later!

WOW! I am one very satisfied customer. Last time I sent my 360 in in it took 2 months. This time it took 1 week! Have any of you guys gotten this lucky? Do you guys find it funny that "Check repair status" is now one of the main features on the Xbox website?

I think instead of fixing your original Xbox they just send you a pre-fixed refurb, but im just guessin... would make sense though.

Ive had my repaird refurb for almost a year so far no major problems.

where are you guys sending your 360 from? It takes 5 days to get from my house on Cape Cod to Texas. I sent it Monday and they received it sometime yesterday. I'm hoping I will have it back by next tuesday or wednesday, idk how long it usually takes them to repair it.

mine took 3 months cause my serial number matched to an original xbox console for some mysterious reasons and i had to argue with them for two months, and they had to do they investigating( aka opening the box that i sent them, it toook them 3 months just to open my box) then finnally they sent me a different xbox 360 with out my hard drive(I was give instruction for an orginal console which did not instruct me to remove the hard drive), so i had to argue with them again and finnaly four months later I got a hard drive and now able to play.

You should have known not to send in the HDD if you've read any story of this encounter with Xbox Repair Facility.

It has never taken over two weeks for mine to come back, but that's because they almost always send me a new one. You aren't really getting lucky they just know that it's better to send the refurbished one and then to fix yours later.
