How to transfer music to my 360?...

I see oh so many people listening to music. I tried to use a USB memory stick, doesn't work. I tried burning them on a CD, didn't work. For both, I can listen to them, but I can't transfer them

Is it even safe to listen to them from the memory stick? I thought it got hot really fast so I'm not sure if its a good idea. Otherwise, how am I supposed to listen to musics while playing online...?

You can only rip regular music cd:s to the 360-harddrive, mp3-players/external harddrive/etc you must stream instead.jelloblimp

As above, but if you have loads of mp3s on your pc you can convert them to wav files and burn them to disk. They can be ripped by the 360 then. Streaming is a much easier option though.

You have your 360 connected to a windows pc (xp + reccommended) with the ethernet cable and then it streams your music in your music folder to your 360. I think you also have to check a box in wmp 11 for it to share music.
