It's not less than the Wii. The retail price for the Arcade is $280. The retail price for the Wii is $250. It's as simple as that. You can probably get the Arcade cheaper at other online stores, but the same is true for the Wii. The bottom line is that the Wii is an inferior console (despite how much fun it is) and therefore costs less.

As for your question about how much it would be for the Arcade plus the 120 GB HDD, you're staring at a computer. Compute it. I will, however, point out that buying the Arcade plus the 120 GB HDD brand new costs more than buying the Elite brand new, which comes with the 120 GB HDD included.

i had to get the 120 gig hdd cuz my old hdd was stuffed full of arcade games and videos.

i swear xbl logs in much faster and the 360s o.s. uses much more hdd space than it did with the 20 gig.

for the extra speed and space for a xbl junkie like me its well worth the price!

sounds like you sould just buy the elite if you can afford it. it also has those sweet hdmi ports! mmm yummy!! if you dont have a good tv but own a lcd pc monitor, get the vga hook up so you can play it on the lcd. looks ALOT better and if you ever play dead rising u will able to read the damn text in that game too.

i run my 360 and pc + speakers into a kvm switch so i dont need 2 screens or to plug and unplug all the time to use both on my pc lcd monitor and speakers. you can get one for around $20

p.s. i couldnt agree more with the other dude the wii is weak, do yourself a favor spend the money for a better console you'll be glad you did!

They rarely even make the game for the Wii because they know the cpu and gpu are too weak to handle games like Burnout Paradise, COD4, DMC4, etc etc. And you'll notice MANY of the wii games that come out are cheezy overpriced games. The average score for a wii game is quite low because the average quality for wii games is poor. the ps2 is NOW inferior, but at least when it was new it had graphics that were comparable to the GC, Xbox, and Dreamcast. It wasn't blown out of the water.

however, the Wii does have some fun games. but they are not pretty to look at. AND the selection is VERY limited.

Ok then then how much would it be for the arcade 360 and hard drive togehter? Because I lok everywhere on amazon and that and I only see it for $290 when people says it is less than the Wii so someone tell me that as well. And thank you for your help.minndak10

The arcade version is less then the Wii in the UK and the rest of Europe I believe, however that is without a hard drive

This is probably the best way to go, I have looked into it and thought about getting one off of ebay since they are much cheaper there, but I don't really need the space right now, but I will eventually probably just get one from there.

yeah i agree. if you really want a 120gb hd for your 360, u gotta get it used off ebay or something. The $170+ at the stores is kinda ridiculous. I'm sure for that kind of $ you could put a 300gb hd in a PS3. but i wish they would just release a 60gb hdd for the 360 for less $. I still only have the 20gb (wish i had got the elite now) but i don't NEED the extra storage space that bad.
