... so is the first skate. that didn't help. anyways, OP, skate 2 is a good game. if you liked skate, youll like skate 2. its not really too much different.. just more tricks, and a HORRID walking / running / jumping system. i luckily sold skate for 30 dollars, and bought skate 2.
I played OG Skate for hours and hours and of course bought skate 2 also. at first i didnt like the imediate differences, everything just felt a little bit different, but after adjusting to that, the game is great, frame rate drops every once in awhile but the amount of skateparks and places to ckate once you beat the game are insane, and the new tricks only make it better. I like the game alot, but it took a little adjusting, but it still has th same skate feel to it.
It's essentially the same game with updated graphics, new and more diverse challenges and double the tricks. I played the original game for hours on end and ranked high in the leaderboards online, this new one refreshes the series and adds a bit more of a challenge to it.
It's better than Skate, and therefore the best Skateboarding game ever. If you liked Skate, buy Skate 2. It isn't drastically different, but it's another fantastic game.
