Help with Gold Xbox live

I had 1 months free gold xbox live and it's now run out but I have a free gold subscription card but every time I try and redeem it, it doesn't have a country or state option so I can't do it, why is it doing this?

When you go to redeem a prepaid live card or prepaid points card, you don't have to enter in any country or anything. Hit your guide button and move to the left a blade or two, there should be something that says Redeem Code..enter your code in there. Look for redeem code.Sonny360Elite
