HDMI XBOX question please help

ok I have the arcade xbox 360 with the hdmi port. I also have an hdmi tv now my question is what hdtv settings should I use so that I can get the most out of my xbox. Is it the Optimal Resolution setting or the 1080i setting please help me asap

If your TV supports 1080p, then that's your optimal setting. Otherwise, 720p and 1080i, in my experience, is a toss up on my Sony 40" LCD. Either one will get you a great picture.

Native resolution is best. If your TV is a 720p but 1080i is selectable as well, go with 720p because it's your native resolution. My HDTV is a 720p, but in the Xbox 360 settings, it allows me to select 1080i. Picture quality looked better in 720p. In 1080i, there were more jaggies.

ok so my display setting is 720 p but the signal capability is 480i 480p 720p 1080i. So I should use 720p for my 360

YES - if your TV is 720p then select 720p on your 360.
