Poll Halo MCC or COD AW? (29 votes)
If you had to pick one which one would you take. Im leaning heavily towards halo because its always been pure fun, but this years cod looks pretty cool.

I'm in the neither camp.
I would ask for a giftcard and buy a game next year.
I swore off COD years ago and I own and played to death all Halo 1-4.
At least COD is a new game if a gun was to my head, I would opt to play a new game instead of something I mastered...but I honestly would get something else.
My gut reaction is go Halo. That making of Halo movie made me super excited. But after a full day of Cod it is closer than I thought it would be. AW is a pretty good game, but MCC is going to be incredible. The amount of value in that 60 dollar package is amazing. Cant wait to replay the campaigns.
I would call myself a moderate COD fan, I liked and played a few titles in the series but I mostly play Battlefield and Halo for my online fps fix. COD AW has the advantage of being a new game. Played a few hours so far, and I love it, the campain is great and they seem to have added a few cool new gameplay elements. Playing the campain actually reminded me a bit of Deus Ex Revolution, how you can upgrade your exo suit with special abitlities.
If I could only chose one though, I'd have to say MCC, the value is through the roof, there is just a lot more content in there, and overall in terms of gameplay quality, level design,, I think Halo is superior than COD. You can also do co-op on every campaign game if I'm not mistaken. In the end MCC would offer more replayability than any single COD game could. I have to say though, it's not realy fair for COD to compare it with MCC, because that is like a crazy remaster, probably one of the best ever in terms of value.
I have bought Call of Duty:AW and I'm really loving the multiplayer part of it and I will be buying the Halo:MCC next week. Can't wait to be honest. :)
@brimmul777: Exactly. CoD is really good, I mean REALLY. And MCC will rule my life for a while, maybe months actually. Great time to be a gamer.
Definitely a land slide here. Don't get me wrong, I love CoD myself but no where near how much I love Halo. I am playing CoD but I know as of midnight monday night it will just be collecting dust for a bit.
MCC by a long shot. CoD lacks content and in my opinion is nothing more than a weekend rental.
Do you have cod? how is it if you do? I was thinking of getting it but if all I'm going to be doing is playing halo...id rather just get NHL

I rented it and beat the SP. It's fun but short. The MP was experiencing difficulties and glitches so I didn't get to play MP.
I'm a huge fan of both but as of late COD has been getting worse and worse. I bought both and have played both. I haven't played Halo MCC online yet but am eagerly looking forward to that tonight. That 15 gig patch is a killer. Overall I'd say the last COD was a let down and while advanced warfighter introduces some cool new features it still feels like last years game. You are still limited to where you can go. Sure you can hop up on a ledge and kind of fly and all that but even with that freedom they have found a way to limit your freedom. The levels seem smaller, things are even faster than before which I'm not a huge fan of and they still have issues with the spawning system IMO that does not favor a person that likes to play stealthy. My opinion would be to get Halo and enjoy the multiplayer for years to come.
Same here. I haven't bought a Call of Duty game in over four releases. Don't plan to.

I'm with ya man. Just tired of it and the last one I bought was COD 6:MW2. I was with the series though since COD1 and before that with the team when they made Medal of Honor for EA. Shame about IW being destroyed internally.
I also have been rather unimpressed in general with 2014 as a gaming year. A lot of cross gen multiplats, a lot of HD ports of games I own....meh. 2015 though, looks great.
Halo always seemed to slow paced for me...Will get it though to play with my friends
thats sorta what makes it better, you don't just run into the middle of the map guns blazing, you have to think, and a 1 on 1 gun battle is WAY more epic in Halo. You can jump, dodge, throw a grenade, fall off the pedestal and STILL manage to kill 2 opponents. In COD a 1 on 1 gun battle lasts 1 second.
