How is boosting for achievements any better than using gamesaves? Acquiring the Gamerpoints without actually doing what is necessary to earn them is cheating.unmach

boosting is not for getting achievements, it is to rank up very quickly without really doing nothing.

who cares about boosting or people who cheat to get achievments... how is it hurting anyone...i dont see the point in boosting honestly... just cuz u have a high rank doesnt change the fact that ur the one playing the game... no matter what rank u r, u will play accordingly to how good u r...

For achievements: I'll use halo 3 for an example, get in the same game (language change) and just let each player get 4 kills within 4 seconds, 3 sword kills in a row, etc. 4 guys who know how to get into the same game can get all the mp halo 3 achievements in a matter of 30 minutes.

Of course its cheating, because getting two guys you know to stand next to each other so you can kill them both with a single spartan laser shot is about 100 times easier than actually having to get the achievement in a legit ranked match.

Boosting for rank is the same logic, but for rank not achievements. "getting help because you can't do it yourself" is a real nice way of putting it though. Rank is supposed to be there to see who is better, not who is sneekier. It is really funny though, you get a booster in a ranked match at level 40, it takes about 4 seconds to figure out how bad the guy sucks :)

Boosting is just a Cheating way of ranking up faster and simplier PERIOD. thats it. nothing about achievements. thats why they call it boosting, to BOOST YOUR RANK (exp)! Not Your Skill Level! (keep that in mind people)

No, they use the term 'boosting' for the same logic applied to achievements as well.
