I'm super excited for Reach, so much so that I am getting a new much needed 360, and every halo game so far. I plan to get the Halo 3, ODST, Halo Wars (even though it apperently sucked) of course Reach (all to go with waypoint), and Halo CE of the market place. All playable on my shiny new 360 s. The problem is, Where is Halo 2? I havent played i years, and I would definitely buy it off the marketplace. It just seems odd that its missing. any news on if they are adding new Original xbox games?

i could only see that being viable if they also added live support for it, cause it was definately a more MP oriented game. im not sure whether they will do that as they have just shut down live for the original xbox

Why would you pay $20 for a game you could get at GameStop for half the price used? Xbox Originals no longer have online so what's the point anyway?

Why not buy it in the store? Can 360s play Xbox originals?

I mainly want it for the campaign, not really going to want to play multiplayer on any game other than Reach for a very long time.
My gamestop stop selling xbox games.

It can, but more than likely you'll need to download a patch for most games to work, but even still not all the original Xbox games work on the 360.

Whatever price microsoft would sell it for you could get it for like 90% cheaper from the internet also i doubt they will be adding any more xbox originals.

i have halo 2 and it works on the 360 so it is compatible

Get it off eBay or something similar for like 5 quid or less.

Marketplace sells expensive. Buy on Amazon and you can buy it for 5 dollars. Too bad no more Live support for original xbox games -_-

You could get it online for really cheap, like $7. If it was on the marketplace, it would probably be buggy and the like.

LOL no, I'm old enough. I would just rather pay a premium to have the game in disc free form.
And sense my next choice was gamestop, I am going to get it online.

Plus, if you buy from Amazon.com, depending on the seller, you don't pay tax. That means instead of paying 321 (where I live) for an Xbox 360, you pay299.99 dollars. The trade-off is waiting.

I personally think Halo CE and Halo 2 should just be released as arcade games with full multiplayer support, campaign, and achievements. Anyone else agree?

For that I recommend newegg. Unless you live in Cali you never pay tax and rarely shipping. Halo Reach was 49.99 to preorder last time I checked... instead of 59.99 + tax. thats like 15 bucks off, but alas I am a sucker for midnight releases.

In the pictures in the instruction/help booklets that came with my Xbox 360 back in 2008, it had the old Xbox dashboard with Halo 2 on the marketplace thing.
