Guitar Hero for the 360????

If I didn't already own both versions of Guitar Hero for the PS2, you bet I'd pick up the 360 version so I could get my hands on those extra songs. Though I hate the design of the 360 guitar.

So, who's picking up Guitar Hero, can I get a show of hands?

Not being a guitar player should mae it more appealing. I've been playing for 13 years or so and it seemed silly at first. i was like "I play real guitar..I don't needk a toy". But now, I think it looks pretty fun.  It could actually probably be a useful tool for helping guitarists learn fretboard perception.

Got my pre-order payed off.  I can't wait.

EXPLORER IS NICE GUITAR DESIGN. SG IS GREAT BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE CAME OUT WITH SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR GUITAR HERO 2 FOR THE PS2. BUT I WILL PROBABLY GET THE 360 VERSION. IT HAS A WIRLESS CONTROLLER.sgpicker

I ordered it today and i'm hoping it will come on Wednesday or Thursday.

Mmm i'm not sure if i like the new one better than the old one (i only played GH2 at a demo kiosk at toys' r us ).

If it's lighter then it will Be better imo as that means i'll Be able to play it longer without my arms getting tired..and i mean after 5 hrs of play lol :P

Oh yeah i forgot it comes with one lol,the demo one i played didn't have one for some reason..maybe someone ripped it off? :P 

P.S. Don't ask how long i was standing at toys' r us playing it :P 

Explorer body looks miles better than the SG in my opinion. (Never was an SG fan)

Though I can see why some people won't like the Explorer shape.

the game is great, no doubt, but the whammy bar on the controller sucks.. theres something wrong with a lot of ppls wired guitars where the whammy doesnt always pick up. On the PS2 version, the bar works perfectly, but for some reason on 360, it doesnt really register.. its pretty frustrating.

other than that, though, its a lot of fun, and feels a bit more challenging than the original. new songs take a bit more skill i think

i did cause i played it over at a party once then went home and found out it was coming out for the 360 in like 2 weeks and i was happy...  i got it today and it is awesome...

isnt there some sort of converter that lets you use ps2 guitars for the x360? so you dont have to buy 2 guitars all over again....biBLioTek

I will probably get it as I don't really care about the guitar design, but I'm worried that I won't really get anything out of it since I don't play guitar.talkingpie92

I don't play guitar either but it's the funnest game i have ever played! Oh, and to the topic creator, I personally like the guitar on 360 more than PS2... it looks cooler too! But yeah, get the game talkingpie92 because if you like music you will like this game, end of story! My wife likes the game man! That should tell you something right there!
