GTA V freezing on loading screens

This has happened a couple of times since I've had this game and although it is pretty infrequent it is very annoying when it happens. It mainly seems to happen after replaying a mission. The game is installed so it can't be a disc problem. I have a 2007 Elite console.

I've heard of someone resolving this issue by entering GTA Online mode and than reloading again. Apparently a few others have said this has fixed their issue too, whether it's a permanent fix, or if it works at all, I'm not too sure. Regardless of the result, let me know how it goes.
