GoW vs Halo 3 (POLL)

Hi, I love GoW! It's a hell of a game! One of the best games ever... I havn't played Halo yet, so I can't say something about it... But I havn't played GoW for a long time like most of the others who started to play it since it came out, I'm afraid GoW will lose a lot of "people online" when Halo 3 comes out... What do you think? What about you?

The ask: Do you think you are going to stop playing GoW when Halo 3 comes out? Or will you continue play it like you do today?

Halo 2 has way more variety then Gears so I can only imagine how much Halo 3 will have over Gears. Halo 3 for the win. CooVee

geow will still have loads of people playing..just look at games like vegas and graw... geow is a huge game and yet people still play these games...btw when halo comes out i wont be looking back :)butterob

There completely different gameplays, how can you even compare them!!

But from what I played from halo3 , its the same stuff as halo2 and the graphics didnt improve much...

i prefer halo. if you haven't played halo yet pick up a cheap used copy of 1 or 2. if you want multiplayer pick up 2, halo1 came out before xbox live so there is no live for halo1. i prefered halo1 for the campaign.rdo

There just is so much more to the Halo series than Gears. Don't get me wrong, I really like Gears, but Halo 3 has 4 player co-op as opposed to 2, vehicles, 8v8 MP as opposed to 4v4, many more MP game types, many more weapons/gadgets, much more balanced MP gameplay, much larger SP battles (Bungie claims epic battles with dozens and dozens of enemies at once on very large environments, while Gears only has about 6enemies on screen at once with very narrow, linear environments), very robust MP stat keeping with awards/medals, saved film feature, much larger MP maps,online party system and better online matchmaking service, and a much more fleshed out SP story with much smarter enemy AI.

So, while a really like Gears and its small environments do allow for more detailed graphics, IMO it still has a ways to go to offer all that the Halo series does.

Yea that also because Halo 3 is newer than GoW too. If we "compare" halo 3 with upcoming GoW 2... What do you think about that? Okay, the future will show us :)
