GOTY 08 what will it be (Poll)

bit unfair you only have xbox games as the possible winners, but hey ho, i only own an x360 so what do i care.

i say far cry 2 for sure. game looks INSANE!!!!! or maybe fallout 3....hmmmmm

I picked fallout 3 although I believe the critics will give GOTY to GTAIV. Which I won't really argue with it's a great game.

i think far cry 2 will win simply because fable 2 is going to get hounded for game length and oblivion already won so its time for a new developer to get the crown and if you voted for gears of war 2 you were joking right?

fable 2, fallout 3, and far cry 2 all look and probably will be equally good in my opinion though.

You got it backwards. Lionhead will fail to deliver yet again with Fable 2. And I don't think it's possible for Bethesda to fail on an open world RPG

it will be like Bioshock which will get really repetitive and there will be no acheivment to killing a person as in Oblivion and Fable when you fight a hard guy you have to be up close and person and... guns jsut take away its EPICNESS'

I thing that will be Fall Out 3, really promess much and the makers have much sperience in this type of games. GOW 2 will be the contender and maybe MGS 4 (good game, but not surprise me in ANYTHING). GTA 4 not deserve be goty, I finish it (97%) and feel empty (me, not the game). Have a few good things, but have lost his soul.:(

Fable 2 is mindless hack n slash one button combat. The world isn't even half the size of Oblivion. They couldn't even implement co op from the start, wonder what else won't go into the game

fallout 3 definately i think will get it just like oblivion. it looks amazing.

Does anyone get pleasure in bashing other ppl about their choice for GOTY, look everyone likes certain games FPS, RPG, Sandbox etc. etc. so why do we attack each other over our choices? This is why GS's forums are %$@! because no one can be happy till everyone likes the same game its pathetic, look just be happy with you're choice and stop bashing each other over you're choices my god. Oh and topic wise I chose Fable II only because its going to be MY GOTY! :evil: :).

Metal Gear Solid 4

I hope they are fair this year, unlike last year, where earlier games in 07 weren't considered as much because they were months old and the new COD4 got the award cuz they were still caught up in the initial excitement of the game.

I say GTA4 should get it. Then again, I haven't played GeOW2 yet, but I hope they don't rule out GTA 4 cuz it came out in early 08.

But I hope Midnight Club LA is good enough to be considered.
