thats sweet....... gears 2 isnt better by much but both are awesome.....gears2 has better gameplay in 3rd person and halo 3 has awesome first person gameplay
Halo 3 for me. I never could get into the Gears 2 multiplayer mode. I suck too badly at it. Don't know why. I've logged a lot of Halo 3 online, though, and loved the series since the start.
I'm a huge Halo fan, so I'm going with that, but I don't by any means think that Gears is a bad game. Unfortunately I've only gotten to play it once, but I loved it!
I prefer Halo 3. The multiplayer is less frustrating and has more game types. Thats probably the only reason, really. I really can't think of any other reason. Halo 3 has 4-player co-op campaign but Gears 2 more than makes up for the lack of 4-player co-op campaign with it's horde mode.
I played GOW 1 for ages, I got through 3 disks and on to the 4th thanks to a dodgey disk tray on my 360, GOW 2 was shocking, an insult to the first and the only time I played it was when my friends made me and all I did was say, "if I was on gears 1 then..." and something about snipe/shotguns would follow. Halo 3 is my game of the moment as I find COD (4 and WAW) very boring and repetative and gears 1 doesn't have the players anymore :(
I never played Halo 3, but I love Gears 2. I'm not that good at MP but I still enjoy myself. I was addicted to Horde Mode for a little while. I was thinking about giving the new Halo 3 coming out soon a try but I'm still a little skeptical. The Halo series just has never interested me. I'll probably just rent it
