I just got this game for x-mas and have been playing online a lot. I have not yet leveled up from the recruit (one silver bar) and i am wondering how you level up? Do you need a certain amount of wins or something? Any help would be great, thanks in advance!
It's pretty much a ratio of wins to loses, and you are able to go down. The system is pretty much the Skill system from Halo, except with only 5 ranks.
The ranking system in the game sucks lol. Its fun but the ranking is horrible. Modern Warfare and World at War (Since theyre the same) have the best ranking system IMO.
Its based on some Microsoft Truskill thing. Do an internet search.
Its supposed to rank you based on your actual skill not just how many times you have played. Winning matches that you arent supposed to win is supposed to be how you rank up. I dont know how you can talk about trueskill when that game is soo laggy and host imbalanced that skill has nothing to do with it. Some people play 5 matches and rank up to level 4. Some people win over 10 rounds in a row and lose a rank. So its pretty much broken.
