I read somewhere that if I create a new account on my XBox360 it will give me an Xbox LIVE Gold account free for a few months. Is that true?

A free 1 month trial. You just sign up, and it'll ask you if you want to use your trial now or later. But I think it's only for Pro and Elite users, not Core users.

Heres what i've discovered though, if you do the 1 month free trial 3 times on 1 console, even if you delete some other accounts it won't work again. I thought i'd have free live for life, since i could care less about achievements, but when i deleted my 2 extra profiles and made another one to get my 4th month free, it just gave me silver instead.
