I beat AC3, only played a little of FC3, but even then I would get Far Cry 3. AC3 was a bit disappointing and Far Cry 3 has way more exploration in it, and far more activities to keep you busy.
In my opinion, Ac3 is ridiculously repetitive, I'm only in chapter 5 on farcry3 and have just got lost in the amazing hunting and just exploring.. so yeah.. go for farcry 3
I started AC3 and the for some reason, I started FC3 a little time after and forgot about AC3. All my time was focused on FC3 because it was a far superior game. Overall AC3 may be the longer one due to more quests, collectables, challenges etc, but FC3 is by far the superior of the two.
