Elite or H3 Xbox?

I've heard about the Halo3 xbox having new heatsinks or something that the elite doesnt have. but then again the elite is almost 500 dollars so im just wondering which one is better?

i forgot to mention. my pro xbox died 3 months ago.

wasnt the RRoD it was the Red Light of death lol.

I have the H3 version and love it,the only plus to the Elite is the 120 GB memory,which,unless your planning on owning every game,is almost uslessSocomGuy3

well the 120gb is not useless if....u plan on purchasing some of the xbox origionals or downloading from the video store or if u just like dowloading lots of demos and trailers....personaly if i dident already own the pro i would buy the elite because it also has a HD DVD player which itself is like 150-200 bucks....but i also dont like the look of the H console

I picked up the Elite about a month ago. I choose it over the H3 version because it came with both the games mentioned, a HDMI cable, and the 120 gb HD and it was only$50 more. And I do intend to own every game. (maybe not).;)

The H3 console has a 65nm core, meaning it runs cooler and quiter than the normal 360. An elite may have this benefit, it may not.It is down to chance im afraid. There is no graphical variation between the two. But i think the H3 consol looks sexy and it comes with a play and charge kit. The 120Gb HDD on the elite is not an essential.
